Sigma Design is seeking a Test Technician II to perform a full range of technical testing assignments with some supervision, taking ownership of individual tasks while supporting root cause analysis and communicating issues effectively at the task level.

The role involves documenting test processes, running defined tests, and collaborating with engineers to refine procedures while ensuring data accuracy and timely completion in a standard lab environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2-year post-secondary diploma in STEM preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant work experience in product development or manufacturing test environment.
• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Document and implement test processes and schedules independently.
• Run defined tests and provide detailed observations for failure analysis.
• Work with engineers to develop and refine test procedures.
• Own testing tasks with responsibility for quality and timeliness.
• Coordinate basic testing operations with other Technicians.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic calibrations on test equipment.
• Document test results and ensure data accuracy.
• Communicate test status to Test Engineers as needed.
