They are expected to be very knowledgeable in electronic circuitry and experienced in a variety of testing methods and tools. The Test Technicians perform independently and communicates directly with Production Management and Manufacturing Engineering to support a culture of continual improvement. Education & Experience Electronics certification (1 year program) with minimum 3 year of Electronics Test experience, or Associates of Applied Science degree (2 year program) in Electronics or adjacent field and 2 years Electronics Test experience, or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 1 years Electronics Test experience, or "C" school or equivalent military technical training specialized in Electronics , or Union apprenticeship or similar vocational training with 2 years Electronics Test experience, or at least 4 years of practical work experience in Electronics Test RESPONSIBILITIES • Must Understand electronic theory and electrical circuitry 1-2 years minimum testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies • Read and understand schematics and circuits • Able to troubleshoot down to component level • Able to work from a written test procedure (ATP) • Soldering skills • Computer literate in MS Outlook, Word, Excel • Experience in High Voltage Power Supplies environment a plus SPECIAL SKILLS • Test and calibrate high voltage power supplies to ensure completed units meet customer specifications for performance and safety. • Troubleshoot and repair high voltage power supplies.
