Job description

Test Technician II tests and troubleshoots a variety of high voltage power supplies and electronic sub‑assemblies to component level. They are expected to be highly knowledgeable in electronic circuitry and experienced in a variety of testing methods and tools. The Test Technician performs independently and communicates directly with Production Management and Manufacturing Engineering to support a culture of continual improvement.

Education & Experience

• Electronics certification (1‑year program) with minimum 3 years of Electronics Test experience.
• Associate of Applied Science degree (2‑year program) in Electronics or an adjacent field with 2 years of Electronics Test experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 1 year of Electronics Test experience.
• "C" school or equivalent military technical training specialized in Electronics.
• Union apprenticeship or similar vocational training with 2 years of Electronics Test experience.
• At least 4 years of practical work experience in Electronics Test.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 1‑2 years of testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies; strong understanding of electronic theory and electrical circuitry.
• Read and understand schematics and circuit diagrams.
• Troubleshoot down to component level.
• Work from a written test procedure (ATP).
• Perform soldering tasks.
• Computer literate in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience in a High‑Voltage Power Supplies environment is a plus.

Special Skills

• Test and calibrate high voltage power supplies to ensure units meet customer specifications for performance and safety.
• Troubleshoot and repair high voltage power supplies.
• Record functional data during testing phases and analyze results for test validity.

Our good‑faith estimate of the hourly rate range for this role is $25.50 to $34.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a highly competitive benefits package.
