Job summary

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation is seeking a Test Technician II to test and troubleshoot high voltage power supplies and electronic sub-assemblies. The role requires strong knowledge of electronics and the ability to work with ATPs, schematics, and diagnostics.

Candidates should have electronics certifications or degrees, with several pathways described, and be capable of working independently while communicating with Production Management and Manufacturing Engineering to support

Qualifications

• Electronics certification (1 year) with minimum 3 year of Electronics Test experience, or Associates of Applied Science degree (2 year) in Electronics or adjacent field and 2 years Electronics Test experience, or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 1 year Electronics Test experience.
• C school or equivalent military technical training specialized in Electronics, or Union apprenticeship or similar vocational training with 2 years Electronics Test experience, or at least 4 years of practical work experience in Electronics

Responsibilities

• Must understand electronic theory and electrical circuitry; 1-2 years minimum testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies
• Read and understand schematics and circuits
• Able to troubleshoot down to component level
• Able to work from a written test procedure (ATP)
• Soldering skills
• Computer literate in MS Outlook, Word, Excel
• Experience in High Voltage Power Supplies environment a plus
