Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School/GED.
• Associate degree or technical certificate in electronics or 1 year of testing circuit card assemblies or 4 years avionics experience.
• Able to read and interpret schematics/diagrams.
• Able to troubleshoot independently to component level.
• Effective communication and teamwork; ability to lift 20–40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up test equipment and perform electrical and functional testing on CCAs and units following procedures, specs and sequences.
• Troubleshoot failures independently to the component level using schematics and test data.
• Correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts as directed.
• Adjust, calibrate and maintain test systems and fixtures as needed.
• Document test results and support quality through SPC and control procedures.
• Collaborate with test engineering, production and quality to resolve issues.
