The role involves following controlled work instructions, maintaining safety protocols, and supporting calibration and testing activities. Responsibilities include assembling and testing equipment, computing measurements, and ensuring documentation and compliance with ISO-17025 standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in ISO/IEC or A2LA certified laboratory is required.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role Purpose:Provides customers, end users, and internal departments with product and technical support by performing the following duties through laboratory technicians.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Access and understand controlled work instructions and procedures.
• Open and identify needed prints to complete lab tasks.
• Understand and adhere to all lab safety protocols.
• Ensure efficient and accurate tracking of laboratory tasks.
• Communicate with the laboratory manager regularly to ensure rapid resolution of issues and consistency of applied methodologies.
• Assemble, inspect, and disassemble both new production and RMA ATDs and testing equipment.
• Performs certification testing on new production and RMA ATDs and testing equipment.
• Measures parts for conformity with specifications.
• Creation of transducer databases from calibration reports.
• Aligns, repairs, replaces, and balances component parts.
• Communicate basic information to CSRs for customer orders.
• Responsible for maintaining and supporting laboratory compliance with ISO-17025 requirements, including internal auditing.
• Completes, maintains, and processes pertinent paperwork and records.
• Read and comprehend testing report readouts and graphs.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks required.
• Utilize data collection software, DTS, and ATDM preferred.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

• Two (+) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate's degree in a related field preferred.

• Prior Experience in an ISO/IEC or A2LA certified laboratory required.
