Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Two or more years of hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems, with familiarity using common test equipment and tools.
• Willing to learn, on the job training opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Acceptance testing activities for one or more product lines per released procedures
• Adapts to different test levels from lower-level Assemblies (Digital, Analog and RF) to box and system level
• Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans from Engineering to perform routine testing, check-out and troubleshooting functions of a simple nature
• Performs routine operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment to ensure conformance with final product specifications
• Diagnoses and isolates malfunctions down to component level
• Conducts defined tests and collects data as assigned
• Able to work with PCs and applications such as Windows and other related software
• Assist with companywide tasks

Schedule: Cohort B — Monday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Job Summary

The Test Technician is responsible for performing testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical systems to verify performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Acceptance testing activities for one or more product lines per released procedures

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift to 25 lbs.


• Manual dexterity to handle small components and operate equipment.
