Job summary

The position supports Cohort B scheduling and requires hands-on experience with test equipment. The successful candidate will work with engineering to perform acceptance tests, isolate issues, and document data, contributing to reliable product delivery and customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Two or more years hands-on testing experience in electronic and mechanical systems.
• Familiar with common test equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing for one or more product lines per procedures.
• Adapt to test levels from component to box/system level based on engineering guidance.
• Perform routine tests and fault isolation to ensure conformance with specs.
• Diagnose malfunctions to component level and collect data as assigned.
• Work with PCs and Windows-based applications for testing tasks.
• Assist with companywide tasks as needed.

Schedule: Cohort B - Monday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Job Summary

The Test Technician is responsible for performing testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical systems to verify performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Acceptance testing activities for one or more product lines per released procedures
• Adapts to different test levels from lower-level Assemblies (Digital, Analog and RF) to box and system level.
• Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans from Engineering to perform routine testing, check-out and troubleshooting functions of a simple nature.
• Performs routine operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment to ensure conformance with final product specifications.
• Diagnoses and isolates malfunctions down to component level.
• Conducts defined tests and collects data as assigned.
• Able to work with PCs and applications such as Windows and other related software.
• Assist with companywide tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Two or more years of hands-on experience, either professional or gained through technical school/lab work, in testing and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems, with familiarity using common test equipment and tools.
• Willing to learn, on the job training opportunity.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift to 25 lbs.
• Manual dexterity to handle small components and operate equipment.
