IDR, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Test Technician in Suwanee, Georgia to support laboratory testing of HVAC products within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on testing and validating HVAC equipment, with emphasis on safety and documentation.

The position offers stability with regular hours and a background in HVAC installation/repair. You will set up testing chambers, document results, and assist engineering with product testing tasks to drive quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of technical school or other post-secondary training required.
• 1+ years of HVAC installation and repair experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests on HVAC products to support product engineering.
• Prepare and modify testing equipment and units as directed by engineering.
• Use mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills to set up and maintain testing chambers and related equipment.
• Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, and troubleshooting to ensure testing accuracy.
