Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Test Lab Technician to perform pre-tests and electro-electronic tests on equipment, prepare final reports, and maintain test records. The role includes calibration of instruments, support during repairs, and collaboration with engineers and production staff.

Evening shifts and overtime may be required. Qualifications include an Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology and at least 1 year of related testing experience, with emphasis on reliability,

Qualifications

• Must have high reliability and flexibility to work weekends when needed.
• Able to read and interpret test standards, procedures and safety rules.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer witness tests and collaboration.
• Able to document results and produce routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Test functional performance of circuit breakers and related components.
• Perform mechanical adjustments on circuit breaker parts and mechanisms.
• Record data, compare to specifications and print results.
• Calibrate test instruments according to specs and maintain equipment.
• Support production during repairs and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Document work and maintain test reports files.
• Work evening shifts and overtime as required.
