Job summary

Thales Defense & Security, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Test Technician for our Clarksburg, MD campus, reporting to the Senior Manager of Manufacturing. The role centers on board- and unit-level testing with minimal supervision, using diverse test procedures and equipment.

The position requires U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and 2–4 years of related experience. Proficiency with Excel/Word/Outlook and ability to lift 50 lbs are expected, with a 5:00 am–2:30 pm schedule and

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship Required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Level Security Clearance upon hire.
• 2 year Electronic degree or equivalent preferred.
• 2–4 years of equivalent experience.
• Flying Probe or In-Circuit Testing Experience required.
• Basic understanding of electronics terminology (Volts, Amps, Ohms, etc).
• Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook; SAP S/4/Hana preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform board and unit level testing per test procedures with minimum supervision.
• Connect test equipment properly.
• Inform team lead of stack and product issues.
• Sign in on correct PIDs, complete ESD testing, follow manufacturing guidelines.
• Run most tests in the factory.
• Support Environmental Stress Testing with minimum supervision.
• Work safely with high voltage and high power transmitters.
• Maintain a neat work area and comply with ESD and FOD policies.

We currently have a openings for a 1stShiftTest Technician in our Clarksburg, MD Campus. Test Technicians will report to the Senior Manager of Manufacturing.1st shift hours are 5:00 am-2:30 pm. .

Responsibilities

• Keep team lead informed of stack and product issues.
• Properly sign in on correct PIDs, complete ESD testing, and follow all manufacturing guidelines and procedures.
• Run most tests in factory.

• Work safely with high voltage and high power transmitters.
• Maintain a neat and tidy work areaand be compliant with ESDandFOD policies.

• Familiar with AC, DC, RF test and measurement equipment operation.
• Experience using Excel, Word, Outlook. SAP S/4/Hana preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift50lbs with or without assistance.
• Shall be accountable for quality, quantity, and inspection of all work performed.
• Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.

The hourly pay range for this role is$22.62 - $28.90 USDalong with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of3%. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the experience level for the role described above.
