Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. in Windsor, CT is seeking a Technician-Test to perform tests and troubleshoot Spencer blower and vacuum products on site.

The role emphasizes documentation, fixture setup, and operation of vibration meters and other gauges on the production floor. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in manufacturing, and strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read engineering drawings and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and troubleshoot performance, leaks and aesthetics of all Spencer blower and vacuum products.
• Maintain documentation as per established quality standards and engineering test specification.
• Perform trim balance.
• Work with a variety of calibrated gauges not limited to vibration meters, temperature probes, volt, and amp meters.
• Set up and break down of test fixtures using hoists, forklifts, or other material handling equipment.
• Work with variable frequency drives.

What Will You Do?
