Job summary

ABM Electrical Power Services is seeking a Test Technician to support inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of electrical power distribution equipment in commercial, industrial, and utility environments.

This entry-level role operates under the guidance of senior technicians, engineers, or project leads, with safety and best work practices aligned to NETA Level I trainee standards.

Qualifications

• Entry-level to developing technician with knowledge of electrical testing.
• Willingness to learn and perform NETA Level I trainee-level practices.
• Commitment to safety and proper work practices for electrical testing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical power distribution equipment in relevant environments.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment as part of maintenance and inspection.
• Document results and findings for each test and service event.
• Assist senior technicians and engineers on projects as needed.

ABM Electrical Power Services is looking for Test Technicians. The Test Technician supports the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of electrical power distribution equipment in commercial, industrial, and utility environments. This role performs entry-level to developing technician work under the direction of qualified senior technicians, engineers, or project leads. Certification is not required; however, the role is expected to demonstrate the knowledge, safety awareness, and work practices consistent with a NETA Level I / trainee-level electrical testing technician.
