This role acts as a technical lead responsible for inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, commissioning, and evaluation of electrical power distribution equipment in commercial and industrial environments.

You will analyze equipment condition, develop technical recommendations, oversee safety compliance, and mentor Testing Technicians I and II.

Qualifications

ABM Industries is seeking a Senior Testing Technician to join our Electrical Power Services team. This position serves as a technical lead responsible for the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, commissioning, and evaluation of electrical power distribution equipment in commercial, industrial, utility, and mission-critical environments.

The Senior Testing Technician performs testing activities independently, analyzes and evaluates equipment condition, develops technical recommendations, oversees safety compliance, and provides guidance and mentorship to Testing Technicians I and II. NETA certification is not required; however, candidates should possess the technical knowledge, field experience, leadership capabilities, and power systems expertise consistent with an advanced-level electrical testing professional.

This role serves as a key field resource supporting project execution, customer relationships, technical quality, and operational excellence.

Pay: $65.00–$75.00 per hour

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
