Job summary

Blue Ocean Inc. is seeking a diligent tester to conduct product tests across laptops, vacuums, and other electronics. You will operate Portable Data Assistants (PDA) and maintain low error rates while processing a high daily test load.

Ideal candidates have prior teamwork experience, basic electronics knowledge, and the ability to lift 5–50 lbs. This role offers weekday hours and a benefits package includ­ing medical, dental, PTO, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Two years of teamwork experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electronic products.
• Ability to stand daily and lift/move items weighing 5–50 lbs.
• Ability to read small fonts (8pt) on hardware.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow policies.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct testing on a variety of products, including laptops, vacuums, and more.

2. Skillfully navigate and utilize PDA （Portable Data Assistant）

3. Complete over 80 power tests daily.

4. Maintain an error rate of less than two units per day.

5. Any other tasks/projects assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferably two years of teamwork experience.
• Basic knowledge of electronic products.
• Capability to work in a standing position daily, lifting and moving electronic products weighing 5 to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read fonts as small as 8pt on hardware.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and consistently apply all company policies and procedures.
