Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. in Richardson, TX is seeking an RF Test technician to join our semiconductor assembly team. You will work closely with operations and engineering to conduct RF tests, dispositions, and process improvements on diverse products.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED (associates in STEM preferred), and 3+ years in a semiconductor environment. Attention to DoE/ SPC methods is valued; 12-hour shifts and cleanroom attire are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with operations, equipment support, and engineering in a dynamic team-based environment.
• DoE, SPC, and other statistical tools/methods understanding is preferred.
• Willingness to wear cleanroom attire and protective gear; able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods on a 12-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Work with operations and engineering to perform product dispositions, process improvements, monitor SPC, and update specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve process problems by following documented procedures.
• Set-up and qualify assembly process equipment.
• Review and respond to RF test failures.
• Coach, train, and assist factory operators to enhance productivity.
• Identify areas for improvement relating to safety, quality, output and cost.

Qorvo is looking for an RF Test technician that will fit well into our company culture. We are seeking a candidate who is flexible, someone who can change priorities at a moment’s notice and someone who is enthusiastic about learning and growing in the Semiconductor assembly Industry.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the operations and engineering teams to perform product dispositions, process improvements, monitor statistical process controls, and update specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve process problems by following documented procedures.
• Set-up and qualify assembly process equipment
• Review and respond to RF test failures.
• Coach, train, and assist factory operators in order to enhance productivity.
• Identify and address potential areas for improvement relating to safety, quality, output, and cost.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, Associates degree or above in a STEM discipline is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing facility is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with operations, equipment support, and engineering in a dynamic, team-based environment.
• Possess an understanding of DoE, SPC, and other statistical tools/methods.
• This factory position requires wearing cleanroom attire and protective equipment; Bending, twisting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and standing for extended periods of time during a 12 hour shift will be required.
