Job summary

Paydayz Staffing Solutions, Inc in OLATHE, KS is seeking a Test Technician for an electronics manufacturing facility. You will test subassemblies, top level assemblies and complete systems to ensure product quality throughout development.

Responsibilities include testing from component to system level, following procedures, collaborating with engineering and production, and documenting issues. This is an on-site day shift: Mon–Thu 6:00 AM–3:30 PM, Fri 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, every other Friday off.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be proficient in English.
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident per ITAR/CMMC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Test subassemblies, top-level assemblies and complete systems per procedures.
• Perform component- to system-level tests including environmental and acceptance tests.
• Interact with engineering and production teams.
• Maintain and adhere to test procedures and documentation.
• Decide acceptance/rejection based on specs and quality.
• Test and repair customer boards/equipment as needed.
• Report problems and potential product improvements to management.

Job description

Location: OLATHE, KS 66061

Pay Rate: $23.50-27.50/hr Depending on experience

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Every other Friday off

Description: Very clean and professional, climate-controlled electronics manufacturing facility. Minimal noise. Only PPE required are safety glasses (provided)

The Test Technician is responsible for ensuring quality products by testing subassemblies, top level assemblies and complete systems in all phases of product development.

• Perform tests from the component level thru the top system level. Including environmental tests and final acceptance tests from established test procedures.
• Interact with the engineering and production departments.
• Maintain and adhere to test procedures.
• Decisions of acceptance or rejection on quality workmanship consistent with specifications.
• Test and repair of customer boards and equipment in a timely manner.
• Keep management and supervisor informed of problems, discrepancies, and possible product improvements.
• Take care of company assets and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check

• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, push and pull 25 pounds
• Must be proficient in English
• Must be able to stand for the full shift
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Be either a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to comply with ITAR and CMMC requirements
• Excellent attendance is required.
• Can perform repetitive tasks consistently
• Present themselves professionally

Preferred Qualifications

• AA Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience.
• 1 to 3 years' experience in testing, troubleshooting, and repair of digital and analog circuits to the component level preferred.
• Proficient at the following: ability to meet shipping deadlines, taking directions and working independently.
