Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Test Technician to join a leading healthcare client in Irving, TX. Under general supervision, you will participate in the production of high-quality medical device instruments, including detailed assembly and testing of electronic components in a controlled manufacturing environment.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, following procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement while ensuring traceability, FDA and ISO compliance, and accurate device

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic assembly and testing in the medical device industry preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with electromechanical assemblies and electronic manufacturing.
• Technical certifications or related experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of electronic components and assemblies using automated test equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and test procedures.
• Maintain Device History Records and quality documents for traceability.
• Support QMS, EMS, and FDA regulations compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
• Prioritize work and communicate with team and vendors.

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Shift: 1st Shift | Mon - Fri/ 6am - 2:30pm

Pay Range: $18 - $21 per hour (W2)

We are seeking a “Test Technician” to join one of our leading healthcare clients.

Job Summary

Working under general supervision, this position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical device instruments. This position includes detailed assembly and testing of various electronic components and finished devices in a controlled manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs testing of electronic components and assemblies using automated test equipment.

• May perform mechanical assembly of electromechanical subassemblies and devices.

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions.

• May instruct others in the use of manuals, test procedures, and documentation associated with specialized equipment.

• Reads and interprets engineering drawings, schematics, and complex test procedures.

• Participates in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes and achieve quality and profitability metrics.

• Maintains accurate records to ensure Device History Records and quality documents are accurate, all parts are traceable, and quality issues can be addressed.

• Prioritizes work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importance.

• Positively represents the company during tours by demonstrating techniques and sharing appropriate information.

• Supports all company initiatives identified by management and supports Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.

• Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, ISO standards, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.

• Adheres to all environmental, health, and safety SOPs, equipment policies, and procedures, including department-specific requirements.

• Maintains positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with electronic assembly and testing in the medical device industry preferred.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate of Applied Science (AAS) preferred.

• 2+ years of experience with electromechanical assemblies, electronic manufacturing, technical certifications, or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting equipment and building and/or testing electronic assemblies.

• Working knowledge of IPC standards and the use of complex tools and equipment specific to functional areas.

• Experience working in GMP, ISO, and FDA-controlled environments preferred.
