Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Test Technician to support inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of electrical power distribution equipment in commercial, industrial, and utility environments. This entry-level role works under the direction of qualified senior technicians, engineers, or project leads.

You will develop hands-on skills toward NETA Level I trainee responsibilities while prioritizing safety and quality in every task.

Qualifications

• Entry-level to developing technician work under supervision.
• No formal certification required; demonstrates knowledge and safety aligned with NETA Level I.
• Requires ability to follow safety practices and work with electrical testing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, maintain and document electrical power distribution equipment.
• Work under the direction of qualified senior technicians, engineers, or project leads.
• Demonstrate safety practices consistent with NETA Level I trainee expectations.

Job description

The Test Technician supports the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of electrical power distribution equipment in commercial, industrial, and utility environments. This role performs entry-level to developing technician work under the direction of qualified senior technicians, engineers, or project leads. Certification is not required; however, the role is expected to demonstrate the knowledge, safety awareness, and work practices consistent with a NETA Level I / trainee-level electrical testing technician. .
