Job summary

ABM is seeking a Test Technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and document electrical power distribution equipment across commercial, industrial, and utility environments in the United States. The position offers an entry-level to developing pathway under guidance from senior technicians and engineers.

Certification is not required, with a growth path toward advanced testing and certification opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certification is not required; however the role is expected to demonstrate knowledge, safety awareness and work practices consistent with a NETA Level I / trainee-level electrical testing technician.
• Entry-level to developing technician work under the direction of qualified senior technicians, engineers, or project leads.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical power distribution equipment in commercial, industrial and utility environments.
• Test electrical power distribution equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
• Document work performed and results.
