Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our aerospace testing team in Colorado. You will perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures, including static load, thermal vacuum, and vibration tests, while ensuring quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a similar role, familiarity with aerospace tooling such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters, and experience assisting with

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a similar aerospace/engineering role.
• Familiarity with aerospace assembly and inspection tools including torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.
• Experience assisting with writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing (preferred).
• Experience working in an Aerospace cleanroom environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures. Tests include static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components after test completion to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
• Assist with non-conformance investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Utilize aerospace assembly and inspection tools such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.
• Help write technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing for clarity and consistency.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

1. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
2. Perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures. Tests include static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration

7. Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the aerospace or engineering industry.
2. Familiarity with common aerospace assembly and inspection tools, including but not limited to torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.
3. Proven experience assisting with writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing (preferred).
4. Experience working in an Aerospace cleanroom environment is preferred.
5. Understanding of advanced electronic circuitry.
6. Experience using electronics equipment (e.g. DMMs, power supplies, DAQs, etc.).
