Test Systems Engineer II – Onsite (100% onsite at Tucson, AZ)
What You Will Do
- Apply subsystem knowledge and collaborate with other engineering disciplines to develop and implement subsystem models using Model-Based System Engineering tools and methods.
- Detail capabilities and derive test requirements.
- Communicate test equipment needs and requirements to Test Equipment designers.
- Manage requirements and traceability.
- Leverage and apply reuse of Test Environment requirements and models to promote efficiency in test design and development.
- Develop subsystem requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and architecture.
- Interact with Technical SMEs to fully understand the subsystem, identify and resolve issues, and support related subsystem trades or analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM with a minimum of 2 years of directly related engineering experience (or a STEM Master’s in lieu of experience).
- Systems engineering experience in test requirements development, test planning, test techniques, and test methodologies within the product lifecycle.
- Experience with Model-Based Engineering processes, techniques, and tools (e.g., Rhapsody, IBM Rational Model Manager, Cameo Systems Modeler, Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud).
- Understanding of SysML and/or UML.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to the start date; U.S. citizenship required.
- Prefer experience with Agile processes and techniques.
- Experience with DOORS, development and environmental testing, qualification, production, manufacturing, and operations testing.
- Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.
- Experience working cross‑functionally within and outside your own team to support development and growth of work tasks.
- Experience in developing, decomposing, and managing systems requirements.
- Ability to recognize areas of improvement or customer needs and relay them to senior staff as business development possibilities.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency, prudent risk‑taking, and adaptive response to challenges.

Salary Range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
Security Clearance: Requires U.S. government‑issued clearance prior to start; U.S. citizenship required.
