RTX, located in the US, is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer in the Test Solutions Engineering organization. You will coordinate across engineering teams to define, design, and document Test Environment capabilities and requirements, ensuring robust testing from component to All-Up-Round.
You must be a systems thinker with deep knowledge of development, production, and embedded test processes. Prior MBSE experience with SysML/UML is essential for success.

The Test Solutions Engineering organization includes all engineering disciplines responsible for systems design and test of all Raytheon products. Engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test including test requirements, test system design, advanced engineering prototyping technology, flight operations, environmental testing, and environmental characterization. We are hands‑on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrating state‑of‑the‑art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world.
As a Principal Systems Engineer, you are accountable to coordinate across all engineering teams to define, design, and document Test Environment capabilities and requirements. You must be a systems thinker, able to see the “big picture,” and have in‑depth knowledge of development, production, User Operations, and embedded test processes and practices. As a Systems Engineer, you must know how prime hardware should be tested at every level (from component to All‑Up‑Round) to ensure robustness and efficiency.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD – 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
