Security Clearance
SECRET position. Personnel must possess a final DoD granted SECRET security clearance.
Requirements
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Minimum B.Sc. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
5 years of experience in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Shall provide electrical engineering expertise to analyze complex electrical systems, electrical-design, architecture, procurement, testing, and other electrical issues.
- Shall integrate electrical components into complex hardware and software designs.
- Shall organize and direct electrical installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities.
- Shall prepare reports and recommendations concerning existing and emerging electrical technologies based on users' requirements.
- Shall develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements.
- Shall provide specific input to the software components of a system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
- Shall design, implement, and integrate software applications or perform software engineering tasks.
- Shall utilize software engineering and design methodologies appropriate to the development, integration, and production environment.
- Shall ensure efficient delivery of software engineering capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes.
- Shall mitigate risks, control costs and schedule variance, and effectively manage large-scale, integrated software projects.
- Shall review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and document test results.
