Job summary

Dice is seeking a Test Software Engineer to develop and debug LabVIEW and Python code for optical test systems. You will create LabVIEW software to control equipment on an optical bench interfacing with DUTs, NI cards, USB-connected PCBs, and related hardware.

The role emphasizes learning and updating existing code to sustain test systems, applying DFX techniques for manufacturing needs, and strong documentation and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Job description

In this role the test software engineer will be responsible for developing and debugging LabVIEW and Python based code. Develop LabVIEW software to utilize different testing equipment on optical bench interphasing DUT (Device under test) with test equipment such as Spectrum analyzer, Oscilloscope, Lasers, Optical transceivers, NI cards, interfacing with custom PCBAs through USB etc. DLLs, Python and Matlab code will be utilized to interface with Labview as necessary.
