Job summary

EMCORE LLC is hiring a Test/Software Engineer in Concord, CA for the R&D Engineering team. You will develop and maintain production test software for inertial sensors, and provide data-driven support to production and customers.

The role emphasizes testing rigor, data analysis, and collaboration with design engineering, production, and customers. On-site position with travel limited to <10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in test/software engineering for high-reliability hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production test software for inertial sensor test stations.
• Diagnose and resolve test-station issues and data anomalies.
• Support disposition of CARs and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Analyze production test data to characterize sensor performance and trends.
