Job summary

IntelliBee is seeking a Test Scripts Writer contractor to support the NC Families Accessing Services through Technology (NC FAST) implementation. You will analyze requirements for testability, translate them into test conditions, cases, and scripts, and execute tests using qTest.

You will automate scripts with Tosca and review artifacts for accuracy while coordinating with the product team to reproduce and fix defects.

Qualifications

• Experience with analyzing requirements for testability and creating test conditions, cases and scripts.
• 5+ years testing web, GUI, client/server, and database applications.
• Experience with requirements analysis and automated test case/script development.
• Experience with manual or automated testing, test planning, and reviewing test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience developing and executing Tosca automation test scripts (6 months+).
• Experience in Jira & SharePoint (1+ year).

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements for testability and completeness using functional/spec documents.
• Develop test conditions, cases, and scripts from requirements.
• Develop and execute tests using qTest and automate scripts using Tosca.
• Review test cases and artifacts for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate testing efforts, report and track testing problems with reproducible test cases.
• Work with product teams to diagnose, recreate problems, and implement solutions.
• Collect and analyze test data per project plan and ensure adherence to procedures.

Job description

The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks a contractor resource to assist with the development and implementation of NC Families Accessing Services through Technology (NC FAST) as a Test Scripts Writer. Duties include analyzing business requirements for testability and completeness using Functional Specification Documents, Business Requirements Documents and Technical Design Documents, developing requirements into test conditions, cases and scripts, development and execution of scripts using qTest to thoroughly test software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects & automate developed test scripts using TOSCA. This position is responsible for reviewing test cases and other testing artifacts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all test artifacts. This position coordinates testing, reports and tracks testing problems by providing reproducible test cases, works with other product team members to diagnose and recreate problems as well as prioritize and implement solutions and close problem reports. This position is responsible for test scripting data collection and analysis according to the project plan schedule and ensuring adherence to standard practices and procedures.
