Overview
Role: Technical Test Lead – Functional Testing, Automated Testing, Healthcare Knowledge, Java, Selenium/ RFT/QTP (Weekend Drive)
Location: Omaha, NE / Phoenix, AZ • Duration: Full Time
Responsibilities
- Develop test strategy, test design, create test plans, data setup, scripting, execution, monitoring and reporting.
- Lead functional, automation and mobility testing for web applications and .Net batch applications; create medium to high complexity SQL queries.
- Automation implementation and scripting using QTP/RFT/Selenium, Cucumber, Java; script reviews and mentoring team members.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers and product owners in Agile and Waterfall environments to prioritize work and define acceptance criteria for user stories.
- Coordinate with stakeholders in a global delivery environment; demonstrate strong communication, coordination and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Basic: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; may substitute three years of progressive experience in the specialty for each year of education; at least 4 years of IT experience.
- Preferred: At least 4 years of experience in test strategy and test design; experience in healthcare domain; at least 4 years in test execution, analysis, and reporting; minimum 4 years of core healthcare domain expertise with testing experience; exposure to US healthcare requirements such as HCR, Medicare/Medicaid, HIPAA, HealthCare Exchange (HIX).
- Proficient in preparing functional and non-functional requirement documents as per business need; expertise in effort estimation, outlining test strategy, creating test plans, data setup, scripting, execution, monitoring and reporting.
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in functional, automation and mobility testing including web applications and .NET batch applications; hands-on experience creating medium to high complexity SQL queries.
- 3–4 years of hands-on automation experience (QTP/RFT/Selenium, Cucumber, Java); capable of script development, reviews and imparting automation skills to team members.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies; ability to work with diverse stakeholders and define acceptance criteria for user stories.
- Strong self-motivation, coordination, communication and analytical skills; ability to work in a global delivery environment.
