Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a production technician for electrical repair and defect identification on circuit card assemblies. The role requires following safety and quality rules and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

On-site in Melbourne, FL, with responsibilities including audits and upkeep of work area. The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with the ability to read schematics and work with various testing

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED) with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to interpret schematics/technical drawings.
• Proficient reading/writing and communication skills.

What You Will Do

• Identify defects by basic electronic troubleshooting and analysis
• Comply with all rules and regulations of Raytheon Technologies, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics and Compliance, Quality, and attendance requirements.
• Perform electrical repair to circuit card assemblies following workmanship standards.
• Participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events, as required.
• Participate in audits.
• Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications and complete trainings as required.
• Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates.
• Complete assigned tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Hours: 2nd Shift (3:30PM-1:00AM), Operating on a 9/80 Schedule

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
