Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) invites a Summer 2027 Test and Reliability Engineering Intern to join our team in Columbus, IN. You will gain hands-on experience in testing, collaborate with the NPD testing team, and interact with mentors and leadership to build skills for your career.

The role includes hands-on validation, truck- and component-level testing, and participation in an automation project that covers hardware and software testing as well as integration.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Academic year: Junior or above.
• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Join our Team as a Test and Reliability Engineering Intern!

The Role:

We’re seeking a motivated Test and Reliability Engineering Intern to join our team in Summer 2027. This internship offers hands‑on experience in testing, where you’ll work on meaningful projects and gain insight into product development and validation. You’ll collaborate with the NPD testing team, as well as mentors and leadership, building skills that will help launch your career!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support project validation work, where planning, executing, analyzing, and reporting are expected
• Hands‑on truck level testing and component level testing
• Collaborate with design, analysis, reliability, and testing
• Will work on an automation project to learn project management, hardware testing, software testing, and integration

What We’re Looking For:

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Academic year: Junior or above
• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Available for onsite assignment in our Columbus, IN location from May to August.
