Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT, seeks a Columbia Certification Program Representative to lead certification readiness for the Columbia Class submarines. You will manage certification activities, coordinate with EB and government teams, and drive issue resolution to maintain schedule, cost, and quality.

You will engage across departments, applying program management principles, and use tools like PowerBI and Teamcenter to track progress and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; engineering degree preferred.
• 5+ years Navy, EB or government contractor experience in planning, test, quality, engineering or program offices.
• Experience with certification programs and cross-functional leadership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned functional areas with certification readiness and delivery of Columbia Class submarines from Groton.
• Support daily oversight and programmatic management of Columbia Class certification.
• Resolve certification issues in time-critical environments with EB and government teams.
• Prepare status updates and brief leadership for weekly/daily reports to Columbia PM.
• Develop metrics and content for management-level out briefs to EB leadership and customers.
