Job summary

Ducommun Incorporated in Huntsville, AR is seeking a Test Operator to perform tasks testing electronic assemblies to specifications using schematics, process sheets and standard test equipment. Under general supervision, you will contribute to production quality.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting under test, operating the Automatic Circuit Analyzer/DITMCO, constructing test set-ups, and recommending procedural changes.

Qualifications

  • Reading wiring lists, schematics and procedures.
  • Basic soldering and small hand/tools use.
  • Familiarity with digital voltmeters and power supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks to meet production quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot units under test and define rework actions.
  • Operate Automatic Circuit Analyzer/ DITMCO.
  • Construct test set-ups and interfaces to Unit Under Test (UUT).
  • Make procedural improvement recommendations.

Job Summary:
  • Perform variety of tasks to ensure production quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot units under test, recognize failures and define appropriate action to be taken for rework.
  • Operate Automatic Circuit Analyzer/ DITMCO.
  • Construct test set-ups, interfaces to Unit Under Test (UUT), test fixtures, and other test aids.
  • Make recommendations for procedural changes as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in reading and applying information from wiring lists, wiring schematics, process sheets and procedures.
  • Basic soldering skills and ability to work with small hand/crimp tools.
  • Basic computer skills; ability to open programs and input data.
  • Understanding of electrical safety.
  • Ability to learn on the job training skills as it relates to Digital Voltmeters and Power Supplies.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
Required Experience and Education:
  • High school diploma or GED
Work Environment andSafety Equipment Required:
  • Include things such as safety glasses, safetyshoes and other designated personal protective equipment as required for theposition.
  • Light manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to electrical components/equipment
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
