Job summary

Ducommun, Inc. in Huntsville, AR is seeking a Test Operator to test electronic assemblies to specifications using schematics, process sheets, and standard test equipment. Under general supervision, you will read wiring data and set up test equipment.

You will troubleshoot failures, assemble test setups, and interface to UUT. A high school diploma or GED is required with basic soldering and computer skills, plus overtime/weekend availability.

Qualifications

  • Reading and applying information from wiring lists and schematics.
  • Basic soldering skills and ability to use small hand tools.
  • Basic computer skills; open programs and input data.
  • Understanding of electrical safety and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks to ensure production quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot units under test, identify failures and determine rework actions.
  • Operate Automatic Circuit Analyzer/ DITMCO.
  • Construct test setups and interfaces to Unit Under Test (UUT) and fixtures.
  • Suggest procedural improvements as needed.

Job Summary: Under general supervision, perform assigned tasks to test
electronic assemblies to specifications using schematics, process sheets and
required standard and/or special purpose test equipment.

Job Summary:
  • Perform variety of tasks to ensure production quality standards are met.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in reading and applying information from wiring lists, wiring schematics, process sheets and procedures.
  • Basic soldering skills and ability to work with small hand/crimp tools.
  • Basic computer skills; ability to open programs and input data.
  • Understanding of electrical safety.
  • Ability to learn on the job training skills as it relates to Digital Voltmeters and Power Supplies.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
Required Experience and Education:
  • High school diploma or GED
Work Environment and Safety Equipment Required:
  • Include things such as safety glasses, safety
    shoes and other designated personal protective equipment as required for the
    position.
  • Light manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to electrical components/equipment
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
