We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Baseball Coach to lead, mentor, and develop athletes of all skill levels. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching fundamental and advanced baseball techniques, fostering a positive team culture, and promoting good sportsmanship both on and off the field.
Player Development: Plan and execute structured practice sessions focused on hitting, fielding, pitching, base-running, and game strategy.
Game Management: Direct team operations during games, including setting lineups, making strategic in-game decisions, and managing player rotations.
Skill Assessment: Evaluate individual player strengths and areas for improvement, providing constructive feedback to support athletic growth.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure a safe environment for all players by properly inspecting equipment, enforcing safety rules, and managing injuries appropriately.
Team Culture: Foster discipline, teamwork, accountability, and resilience among team members.
Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for players, parents, and league administrators regarding schedules, expectations, and team updates.
Experience: Proven playing or coaching experience at the high school, collegiate, or club level (previous coaching experience preferred).
Knowledge: Strong understanding of baseball rules, strategies, and modern training methodologies.
Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational abilities with a passion for mentoring youth or athletes.
Certifications: CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) and any required state or league coaching clearances/background checks.
Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends for practices and games.
