Job summary

Boston Scientific in Minnesota is seeking a Test Method Development Engineer - P3 to join the Research and Development team within the Interventional Heart Failure group.

You’ll focus on test method development for critical product performance measures on a new product platform with device feedback loops, including sensors. Expect approximately 20% travel and an onsite work model in Arbor Lakes, MN.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in mechanical engineering or biomedical engineering.
  • Minimum 3+ years of engineering experience.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and sound technical judgment.
  • Experience developing product-level test methods and equipment/fixturing with verification testing.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Test method developer for components, sub-assemblies, or finished medical device products.
  • Create new methods to evaluate critical areas of product performance with device feedback loop focus.
  • Design equipment or fixturing to support method development.
  • Lead or contribute to test protocols, data generation, and analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure requirements are unambiguous and measurable.
  • Prepare technical reports communicating results and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute ideas for intellectual property submissions.
  • Hands-on in-lab product development and testing.
