Assistance Technique Internationale (ATI) in Cudahy, WI is seeking a team-oriented Test Material Processor to prepare test samples and conduct metallurgical tests on materials and forgings. You will operate machine tools and follow blueprints to produce test specimens and support quality testing.

Responsibilities

• Layout and section off test material.
• Turning, facing, form grinding, threading of cylindrical test specimens, polishing of test specimens and redlining of test specimens.
• Turning and facing of etch samples and sawing, shaping, milling and surface grinding of rectangular shaped test specimens.
• Preparation of etched samples.
• Produce test specimens through hot working operation of the Hot Compression Tester and related equipment is performed jointly with the IFPTE techs.
• Store, scrap and dispose of production related test material.
• Store, scrap and dispose of acceptance material.
• Experimental Heat Treat Operations.
• Pick-up and delivery of test material.

We are currently seeking a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Test Material Processor at our Cudahy, WI facility. We are looking for someone with good problem solving and communication skills to prepare test samples through machine tool operation for metallurgical testing and to conduct certain metallurgical tests on various materials and forgings. Applicant must pass aptitude test.

The shift is either 2nd Shift Monday-Friday from 11AM - 7 PM OR 4th Sunday-Thursday 11PM-7AM.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Layout and section off test material.

• Turning, facing, form grinding, threading of cylindrical test specimens, polishing of test specimens and redlining of test specimens.

• Turning and facing of etch samples and sawing, shaping, milling and surface grinding of rectangular shaped test specimens.

• Preparation of etched samples.
