Job summary

JST is seeking a Test Line Engineer in Idaho to proactively configure, troubleshoot, and test final JST products on the manufacturing line. You will ensure equipment aligns with JST standards, engineering drawings, and customer specifications, while maintaining a safe, efficient environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, ladder logic, and electrical systems, and offers exposure to wet processing in a cleanroom setting. Shift flexibility is available Monday–Thursday.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in automation systems.
• Experience with ladder logic and PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Unitronics).
• Ability to read engineering drawings (blueprints).
• Excel proficiency and data handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure controllers, switches, meters, regulators, and HMI parameters on JST benches.
• Connect and disconnect lines to wet benches and the test line.
• Test manual and automated functions of JST benches and verify compliance to specs.
• Troubleshoot components to meet customer, vendor, or engineering specs.
• Maintain documentation including checklists, Gantt charts, and nonconformities in Excel.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment using 6S.
• Develop understanding of JST wet processing products within nine months.
