Job summary

JST is seeking a Test Line Engineer to configure, start up, troubleshoot, and test final JST products. The role ensures equipment tests meet JST standards, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.

Responsibilities include configuring controllers and sensors on test benches, connecting lines to wet benches, testing automated functions, and maintaining documentation. Travel up to 10% is expected; willingness to work in a Class 100 cleanroom is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a minimum of 5 years of automation experience.
• Experience with ladder logic, Allen-Bradley, and Unitronics PLCs.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, multimeters, and pneumatic/fluid systems.
• Ability to program and set parameters for electrical, fluid, and pneumatic controllers.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits and industrial equipment.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and in a Class 100 cleanroom.

Responsibilities

• Configure controllers, switches, meters, regulators, and HMI parameters on JST benches.
• Connect and disconnect temporary lines to JST wet benches and in the cleanroom.
• Test manual and automated functions of JST benches and manage recipe marathoning.
• Troubleshoot components to meet customer, vendor, or engineering specs.
• Complete the Factory Acceptance Checklist and maintain project documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment using the 6S method.
• Develop foundational understanding of JST wet processing products within 9 months.
