Test Lead – Functional Testing (Mainframe)

Location: Alpharetta, GA or Berkeley Heights, NJ (5 days onsite – mandatory)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead – Functional Testing with strong mainframe testing and environment support expertise. The role focuses on end-to-end (E2E) functional testing, test automation, and backend environment support across complex mainframe systems. The ideal candidate will act as a lead and escalation point, ensuring testing quality, SLA adherence, and environment stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional and end-to-end testing, participating in client and technical discussions to understand requirements and risks.
• Plan and maintain test strategies, test cases, and test suites, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Develop and enhance test automation scripts and frameworks using tools like Selenium and TestNG.
• Provide E2E testing and environment support for mainframe systems, including batch monitoring, root cause analysis, and file transmission support.
• Act as an escalation point for testing and environment issues, managing incidents and ensuring SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with QA, development, and infrastructure teams, and provide status and risk reporting to stakeholders.
