Job summary

Anvaya Solutions, Inc. is seeking a QA/Test Engineer for a 1-year hybrid role in the Sacramento area. The candidate must be able to work onsite 3 days per week and has strong QA experience with GIS understanding. Experience with AspenTech ADMS Monarch, OMS and Compass is required.

Desirable expertise includes test automation familiarity and defect tracking collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in testing and quality assurance activities.
• Prior understanding of GIS model.
• Experience with testing methodologies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough QA testing across software modules.
• Create and execute test plans and test scripts.
• Coordinate with development teams to reproduce and triage defects.

1 YEAR TERM. HYBRID POSITION (MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN SACRAMENTO AREA 3 DAYS PER WEEK).

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of experience with different OSI AspenTech ADMS Monarch applications.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience with OSI AspenTech OMS and Compass applications.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in testing and quality assurance activities.
• Prior experience and understanding of GIS model.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with various test automation tools to assist with testing.
• Knowledge and hands‑on experience of any Defect Tracking Tool: HP ALM, Jira, etc.
• 2-3 years of experience with creating process maps and translating those process maps into test plans and test scripts.
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and iterative development methodologies.
