Job summary

Staffing Technologies in Austin, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I to set up and support test equipment in the System Level Test lab for silicon validation. You will perform BIOS updates, calibrations, and basic Linux commands, troubleshoot electronics boards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep the lab operating smoothly.

You will gain hands-on experience with test equipment and maintenance, contributing to the timely validation of new silicon while ensuring lab safety

Qualifications

Requires hands-on experience setting up and maintaining test equipment in a lab.
Familiarity with calibration procedures and lab safety.
Experience with Linux OS and basic command line.
Background in electronics with ability to troubleshoot test failures.

Responsibilities

Set up and support test equipment in System Level Test lab for silicon validation.
Maintain test equipment and perform calibration according to procedures.
Perform BIOS updates on testers as part of daily tasks.
Debug electronics boards and troubleshoot failures observed during tests.
Prioritize work orders and coordinate with cross-functional teams to keep lab running.
Assist with lab operations and preventive maintenance of testers.
