Job summary

ManpowerGroup seeks a Lab Test Technician in Longmont, CO to join the US FPT lab team. You will support SSD hardware bring-up, firmware validation readiness, and day-to-day lab operations with hands-on problem solving and precise documentation.

The ideal candidate builds and maintains NVMe/PCIe SSD test systems, executes test plans, troubleshoots issues, and manages lab inventory to keep project schedules on track.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining PC/server hardware.
• Experience with NVMe/PCIe SSD hardware and storage platforms.
• Ability to execute test plans and follow procedures with clear results.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, firmware, and system setup.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux command-line; basic Shell or Python scripting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support SSD hardware bring-up, configuration, validation readiness, and ongoing maintenance for project-specific platforms.
• Build, configure, modify, and maintain NVMe/PCIe SSD test systems, hosts, debug systems, and supporting lab infrastructure.
• Execute defined test plans, manual procedures, pre-flight checks, and system validation steps with strong attention to detail.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, firmware, connectivity, power, and system-level setup issues to restore lab readiness quickly.
• Manage lab inventory and asset tracking, including hardware reuse, check-in/check-out processes, and coordination of shipping/receiving and internal movement.

Our client is seeking a Lab Test Technician to join their team. As a Lab Test Technician, you will be part of the US FPT lab team supporting SSD hardware bring-up, firmware validation readiness, and day-to-day lab operations. The ideal candidate will enjoy hands‑on problem solving, take pride in accurate documentation, and communicate clearly to keep lab activities aligned with project schedules.

Pay Range: $37/hr What's the Job?
