Hitachi Energy USA INC. seeks a Test Lab Manager to lead the operations of an advanced testing facility focusing on breakers, modules, and critical power technologies.

You will oversee testing strategies, ensure timely, compliant results, and guide engineers and technicians toward operational excellence. You will manage calibration, maintenance of equipment, and development of testing methodologies while collaborating with engineering and quality teams to advance new technologies from concept to

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in a testing lab, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/ISO 17025 or similar quality systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily testing laboratory operations, including scheduling and resource planning.
• Develop and maintain test plans and procedures aligned with standards.
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of high-current/high-voltage equipment.
• Mentor engineers and technicians to ensure technical excellence.
• Analyze test data and communicate findings in detailed reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and product teams to validate requirements.
• Maintain a safe, compliant laboratory environment.
• Manage laboratory budgets and capital equipment purchases.
