Job summary

FUCHS Lubricants Co. is seeking a Mechanical Test Design Engineer in Massachusetts to design, develop and deploy application and simulation test rigs. You will support customers directly and via the Sales Team with technical recommendations and component inspection testing.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or other relevant discipline).
• SolidWorks proficiency required.
• CAD software experience preferred.
• Coding and/or LabVIEW experience preferred.
• Electro-Mechanical Design Preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Mechanical Test Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of various application and simulation test rigs.
• This role will also support customers directly and indirectly via the Sales Team with technical recommendations and component inspection testing.
• Assist Test Field and Test Design Engineers with Mechanical Design of Test Rigs
• Develop LabVIEW coding and deployment software
• Develop and initiate test protocols
• Data analysis and organization
• Telephone support for incoming technical calls and field sales
• Test Actual Components sent in from customers
• Prepare written reports for customers
• Responsible for responding to assigned corrective actions per the CAR system

Salary

FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
