Job summary

Hussmann Corporation in Bridgeton, Missouri is seeking an Evaluation Engineer to develop test requirements, interpret results, and document testing activities. You will select standard lab procedures and adapt testing equipment to achieve project goals, reporting to the Lead Engineer.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 0–2 years of product design and evaluation experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, oral & written.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and report results of assigned laboratory tests; recommend and implement design changes on tested equipment.
• Translate project objectives into a schedule of activities covering testing and evaluation.
• Help develop new refrigerated display products.
• Evaluate test results and adjust testing program or equipment as needed to meet objectives.
• Prepare reports detailing objectives and conclusions of the testing project.
• Analyze laboratory test procedures and identify areas for improvement.
