This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full‑time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Boeing is seeking a dependable and adaptable Contract Structural & Mechanical Testing Engineer to support our Test & Evaluation team in Tukwila. This engineer will play a vital role in our materials testing labs developing test plans, designing test hardware, and conducting materials tests to ensure that company products and services comply with customer, regulatory, and company requirements.

In this position, you will review customer requirements, develop test plan, and integrate test systems. You will have ownership of your test and be responsible for executing the testing by hands‑on work with hardware as well as the computing systems controlling the test frames. You will review and validate test data, preparing and publishing detailed test reports. Additionally, you will conduct research in test technologies to improve efficiency and capability, while interfacing with other members of project or program teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement effective test engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in structural and mechanical engineering, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Position Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, procedures, and test equipment/software to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in structural design, analysis, and/or testing.
• Experience in pneumatic design, maintenance, and repair.
• Experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, or a similar CAD program.
• Experience with structural analysis and hand methods.
