Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Test Planner and Manager (TPM) to join our Test & Evaluation (T&E) team. The TPM will design end-to-end test strategies, translate operational needs into structured test plans, and define MOPs/MOEs and data requirements for DoD programs.

This hybrid role requires up to 30% travel across the Southwest US. U.S. citizenship and a Secret security clearance are required. The estimated salary range is $150,000 – $175,000, commensurate with experience and technical skillset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of test planning and test management within defense or national security domains.
• Experience with non-traditional acquisition pathways (CSOs/OTAs) and governance.
• Strong engineering literacy across relevant domains (aeronautical, electrical, systems, cyber).
• Familiarity with regulatory processes (airworthiness, spectrum, safety, cyber).
• Excellent executive writing, briefing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end test strategies translating needs into structured test plans.
• Define MOPs/MOEs and data requirements for tests and simulations.
• Embed T&E requirements and milestone evidence into acquisition pathways.
• Navigate regulatory gating to secure approvals early in the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with vendors, PMs, and service test orgs to deliver decision-ready evidence.
