Constellation Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer with active TS/SCI clearance for federal contract work in the Washington, DC area. The role emphasizes test planning, data evaluation, and collaboration with government T&E programs.

Required experience ranges by level, with senior levels demanding extensive years in Test Engineering. Practical automation testing experience and cross-domain knowledge are preferred for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• This position supports multiple levels of experience; 2+ years in the last 5 related to Test Engineering.
• Level 04 requires 15+ years of experience; Level 03 requires 12+ years; Level 02 requires 9+ years; Level 01 requires 6+ years.
• Minimum education is a High School Diploma.
• Experience with automated testing is a plus.
• Experience planning and executing performance analyses is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce Evaluation Plans including metric framework, scenarios, timeliness, and crosswalks to T&E.
• Create Evaluation Reports and Status reports for input to Government T&E products.
• Input to Technology Readiness Assessments and Test & Evaluation Master Plans.
• Specify, validate, and adapt Modeling & Simulation for Test & Engineering use.
• Execute evaluation plans based on collected data from Testing Tasks.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

Required:

• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
• Must be a US Citizen
• This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to Test Engineering:
• Level 04 requires a minimum fifteen (15) years of experience
• Level 03 requires a minimum twelve (12) years of experience
• Level 02 requires a minimum nine (09) years of experience
• Level 01 requires a minimum six (06) years of experience
• Minimum of High School Diploma
• Experience with Automation Testing is a plus
• Planning and Execution of Performance Analysis
• Specifying, validating, and adapting Modeling and Simulation for Test and Engineering (T&E) use
• Execute the evaluation plan on data collected by the Testing Tasks
• Produce Evaluation Plans (metric framework, scenarios/threads, timelines, requirements/T&E cross-walk), Analysis Plans, Data Requirements, Risk Assessments, Evaluation Reports, Status reports; provide input to Government T&E products (e.g., Technology Readiness Assessments, Test & Evaluation Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, T&E Plans & Procedures and Test Readiness Reports)

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• IAT Level II certification
• Experience testing products written in Java or GoLang
• Experience testing in Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco OS operating system
• Experience in one (1) or more of the following ten (10): Public Key Enabling (PKE); RESTful services and containers (Oracle WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat), Java programming language, Perl programing language , Java EE, Secure web (SSL) and file encryption, LDAP (RedHat directory) Java, Linux (CentOS), Modern IDEs (IntelliJ, Eclipse, etc.), Agile Scrum process
• Use of automated testing tools like Selenium a plus
• Knowledge of ActiveMQ, Artemis, Kafka a plus
