Our client, a leader in the electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking a Test Engineer to join their team. As a Test Engineering Technician , you will be part of the Product Sustaining Engineering department supporting manufacturing and customer focus teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Test Engineering Technician
Location: Longmont, Colorado
Pay Range: DOE Pay starting at $80k
What's the Job?
Perform a variety of engineering tasks with automated test equipment (ATE) and functional test stations related to product sustaining engineering.
Support customer focus teams (CFTs) by establishing test requirements and supporting assemblies with appropriate equipment.
Install, improve, and maintain customer-specific functional test stations and programs for both customer-furnished equipment and internal processes.
Engage in troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause identification to support manufacturing goals.
Develop and update tester documentation, procedures, and programs to ensure ongoing quality and efficiency.
What's Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience in a similar environment with knowledge of manufacturing test tools such as Flying Probe, ICT, Boundary Scan, and functional test methodologies.
Ability to utilize electronic manufacturing systems and read schematics for debugging non-functional products.
Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, and signal generators.
Understanding of programming languages and platforms like C++, C#, Java, Perl, Python, Labview, or Visual Basic, along with familiarity with computer architecture, Windows OS, and networking.
