Job summary

Flex is seeking a Test Engineering Manager in Columbia, SC to lead evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of testing procedures, systems, and modifications. You will advise the team, coordinate with other engineering functions, and ensure projects are on time and within budget.

The role reports to the Process Engineering Manager and will support SpinCo after Flex’s planned spin in 2027. Strong technical and people management skills are essential for success in this senior testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Master’s or MBA preferred for advanced leadership.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering with supervision experience.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional testing teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate testing activities and personnel.
• Define test conditions, sequences, and test operation phases.
• Interpret test data and prepare technical reports for stakeholders.
• Train staff on test hardware and software systems.
• Manage risk, budget, and schedule for testing programs.
